SHIPPING AND RETURN POLICY
We offer a choice of shipping options via UPS and USPS. Many non-chemical items are able to be shipped via USPS Flat Rate. Any order placed containing fully eligible items will automatically be shipped using that method, unless cost of customers chosen method is less than the current USPS Flat Rate option. Any overage in shipping cost will be adjusted in customers final total prior to payment processing and shipping.
We also offer local delivery and will call pick up for customers in the MD and DC area, who wish to place their order online and pick up at a later date/time. Will call orders must be picked up within five (5) business days of notification that order is available. Any orders not picked up within five (5) days will be restocked and will not be subject to refund unless prior arrangements have been authorized, in writing, by EJW Distributors.
Arrangements for local delivery will be established and confirmed with customer when order is processed and ready for shipping. Please note that local delivery does not operate under same guidelines as national shipping providers ( UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.). Delivery drivers will make only one (1) delivery attempt. It is expected that customers be available to accept delivery at the pre-arranged time and location or designate other authorized agents to receive package. If a delivery is to be received by someone other than the original customer, the name, delivery location (if different) and contact information must be provided to EJW Distributors during the delivery scheduling or no later than two (2) days prior to delivery. Information provided to us on the day before or day of delivery is not guaranteed to be honored. Corrections or additions to original delivery address such as missing apt/ste numbers or delivery locations such as side/back door, upstairs/downstairs, or garage may be provided on day of delivery if needed. All deliveries will require ID verification and signature. Any delivery that is not able to be completed as scheduled due to failure on customers behalf will be returned to warehouse and held for will call pick up for modified retrieval period of three (3) business days.
Additional charges for hazardous materials shipping will apply to all orders containing solvents, acids, corrosives, or aerosol items unless will call pick up or local delivery is the selected shipping method. Please note that orders containing hazardous materials are NOT eligible for any express carrier shipping options. Chemicals which will incur additional hazardous shipping costs are identified with this symbol throughout our website.
Customers will be notified via email when orders are received and when they are shipped. If notification of shipping is not received within three (3) business days, please contact us at email@example.com. Please include order number and the best contact method and time.
We will not be held liable for undeliverable packages due to address errors. It is customers responsibility to ensure that all information is correct when the order is placed. If an error is noticed after submission of order, please contact us immediately at 410-655-5800 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include order number, best method and time to contact and the error that needs to be corrected. Corrections are able to be made prior to shipping notifications. Once notice is received that item has been shipped, it will be customers responsibility to make necessary adjustments or changes with the carrier.
Please fully inspect all items for damage upon delivery. Any claims arising in regard to damaged parcels will be addressed to carrier. EJW Distributors will not be held liable for damage due to improper handling during shipping process.
To be eligible for a return, item must be unused and in the same condition that it was received. It must also be in the original packaging.
Due to the nature of products sold, returns or exchanges will not be accepted beyond 7 days from date of receipt.
If customers are dissatisfied with a chemical product, please contact us immediately and we will relay the concerns to the manufacturer on customers behalf. We will make the necessary arrangements to replace or refund the product according to the individual manufacturers guarantee policy. Due to hazardous material shipping regulations, we are unable to offer direct returns to EJW Distributors. Should an item need to be returned, all return shipping options will be regulated by and returned to the manufacturer.

Should you find that you have ordered a chemical incorrectly or accidentally, please notify us immediately. Orders may be adjusted prior to shipping. If error is noticed after notification of shipping, please contact us immediately to cancel order and make arrangements. In this case, the entire order will need to be refused at time of carrier delivery attempt and returned UN-OPENED to EJW Distributors. Order will be reshipped per arrangements discussed with customers on case by case basis.
To complete your return, we require a copy of your receipt/invoice as proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Items that have been returned by carrier for non-delivery or other delivery issues will be held for two (2) business days in order to contact customer and make arrangements to attempt redelivery. Unclaimed items will be restocked and the original order will be cancelled and refunded less original shipping costs and any fees charged for returned packages. In the event, customer will be notified of returned order and will need to place a new order.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 10 days. (Please review your individual credit card policy for additional information on when transactions will post to your account.)
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund upon 10 days of approval, check with your credit card or financial institution prior to contacting us. There is often additional processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Items purchased during sales, clearance, or other promotional discount may be returned for EJW Distributors store credit according to aforementioned policies and procedures.
Exchanges (if applicable)
Exchanges will be accepted for items that have been damaged during shipping or deemed defective upon inspection. Items that have been ruled damaged or defective due to user negligence will not be exchanged or refunded. Items can be reshipped back to customer, AS IS, at customer expense. If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves, we will send a refund to the gift giver once he/she has been notified of your return and proper receipt/proof of purchase has been provided.

You will be responsible for shipping costs when returning your item, except in event that reason for return is due to incorrect item (item that was not selected on original order) being shipped. In case of original shipping error by EJW DISTRIBUTORS, a return label will be provided free of charge. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
If you are returning an item over $75, you MUST use a trackable shipping method and purchase additional shipping insurance for the full value of the item. Full value is defined as the original sales price before any discounts/adjustments that may have been applied at time of order. You must also provide us with the tracking number(s) provided by the carrier.
